Sold to Fayetteville in August 1909.

William Luyster, right fielder and captain, was born in Elizabeth, N.J., July 10, 1883. He started with Montreal in 1903, where he remained in 1904. He then went to Hartford. He played there four seasons. He jumped to the Atlantic League. He was with Fayetteville in the Eastern Carolina association when the team won the pennant in 1910. He was bought by Pittsburgh, sent to Providence and then came to Lawrence in 1911. He also pitches. He winters in Elizabeth, N.J. [1]
