"Like many Eastern European nations, Hungary began its modern baseball history in the early 1990s. Baseball has received the greatest attention in the capital city of Budapest and its subaarb Szentendre as well as the mid-sized city of Nagykanizsa, which is located in the southwestern part of the country.
