"The Republican Banner" of August 29,1860, listed both team's members, the two umpires, and noted the game was for the Championship of The Ball. It also noted that Harve Blow's two boots were used as Home Bye. Doctor Judson Nelson umpired and he later cared for John J. McGraw's mother before she passed away when John was a boy.
