The Thomasville Times, Oct. 23, 1875: “Boston Department… six of our base ball club visited Thomasville last week and scored twenty-four more than the Tocwottons. The Aucillas will play a Bainbridge club on the grounds of the Red Clouds at Cairo, this week.”

Boston GA (current population about 1300) is 210 miles S of Atlanta. Boston is about 12 miles from the FL border and about 30 miles NE od Tallahassee FL.
