Daily Iowa State Register May 24, 1868: "Council Bluffs has a base ball club, named the KuKlux."

Council Bluffs IA (1860 pop. about 2,000; 1870 pop. about 10,000)is on the western border of the state, and about 8 miles east of Omaha NE.
