Des Moines "Daily Iowa State Register," June 3, 1866: "Base Ball Club--The members of the base ball club will meet at the office of Kendall & McHenry, Exchange Block, to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock." Same Nov. 12, 1867 mentions the "Capital City" BBC of Des Moines. Same June 13, 1868 mentions the Crescent BBC of Des Moines.
