The Salt Point BBC was formed of players in the the First Ward of Syracuse, and officeres elected.

It was evidently the second Syracuse club formed, after the Syracuse BBC.

In the baseball clippings collection of the Onondaga Historical Assn, we find 2 1859 games played by Salt Point.
