The Chittenango club played the Olympic Club of Syracuse on October 3, 1859, the earlyist ref we have to this club. They won the game by 9 runs.
The baseball clippings at the Onondaga Hist. Assn reveals three other games played, all in 1860.
Chittenango is about 15 miles east of Syracuse. Its population today is about 5000.
