A new Base Ball Club, called the "Independent," has been organized in Plattsburgh, with the following officers: President, E. Holcomb; Vice President, J. D. Evans; Secretary, G. W. Watson; Treasurer, J. W. Weaver; Field Directors, J. Clock, F. McCadden and H. Ransom.
