The Grand Forks Weekly Herald, June 26, 1879, says on June 25 the Dakota Stars of Grand Fork beat the Caledonia Boys of Caledonia 49-19 at Grand Forks.
Grand Forks ND (1880 population about 1,700) is about 80 miles from the Canadian border and about 75 miles N of Fargo ND.
