The Gettysburg "Adams Sentinel" Aug. 7, 1866, says there was a game at New Oxford Aug. 4, Young America of Hanover 16, Juvenile of New Oxford 17.

Hanover PA (1870 pop. about 1,800)is about 35 miles S of Harrisburg and 8 miles N of the MD border.
