The Aiken Courier-Journal, Sept. 11, 1875, says the Athletic base ball club will leave town next Tuesday for match games at Orangeburg, Branchville, Grahams, Bamberg and Blackville.
Aiken SC (1880 pop. about 1,800) is about 20 miles E of Augusta GA.
