Transcription: Base Ball Game- Only six innings were played between the Lewiston and Colfax clubs on the Fourth. At the close of the first inning the score stood Colfax 11, Lewiston 2; second, 1 to 2. After the Lewiston boys gained until at the close it stood, Lewiston 21, Colfax 19.
Colfax WA (1880 pop. about 450) is in Eastern WA and about 60 miles S of Spokane.
Lewiston ID is near the WA border.
