The New York Clipper, June 22, 1861, article headlined "Baseball at Woodstock, C.W." reports on a game between the Young Canadians of Woodstock and a picked nine of the town of Woodstock. The New York Mercury, July 15, 1860, reports on a game at Woodstock between the Young Canadians and the Olympic.
