The Cheyenne (Wyo.) Daily Leader, June 27, 1870, notes that the Silver Star Club of Nevada lost to the Eagle Club of California in a match "for the championship of the Pacific Coast."
Unclear what town the Silver Star represented. Carson City had a Silver Star club in 1874.
