The St. Johnsbury Caledonian, Sept. 27, 1867, reports on a base ball tournament recently held and mentions the following teams: Ethan Allen of Marshfield; Caledonia of Danville; Olympic of Morrisville; Union of St. Johnsbury; and Rural of Montpelier.

Marshfield VT (current pop. about 1,600) is about 20 miles W of St. Johnsbury VT.
