Central Base Ball Club.....A new club, designed as a rival to the Upper and Lower Town Ball Clubs, has been organized. Their field of operations will be the Central Park of the city. (St. Paul Daily Minnesotan, Wed. September 7, 1859.) Meeting notices for the Central BBC also found in issues of September 13 and September 22.
St. Paul's population in 1860 was about 10,400.
