The Base Ball Match....The first match game between the Crescent Club of Red Wing, and the North Star Club of St. Paul, took place on the grounds of the Crescent Club, on Friday afternoon, the 21st inst., and was witnessed by a large number of spectators. The game was closely contested, and fine work was made by both clubs. At the close of the third inning the count stood even 16 to 16. On the fourth inning the Crescent Club shutout the St. Paul boys, not allowing them to make a count while they made two. In the fifth inning each club held its own, and on the sixth inning the North Star Club made seven runs, while the Crescent Club made six, which left the latter but one ahead.
