The Yankton Press & Dakotan, March 10, 1870, says that last Saturday the Yankton Coyotes BBC was organized. The Yankton Union and Dakotian, March 3, 1870, says a base ball club was organized in this town yesterday.
Yankton SD (1880 pop. about 3400) is in the SE corner of SD on the Missouri River.
