The Cheyenne Daily Leader, April 6, 1871, reports that the Cheyenne BBC was organized April 5th.
Cheyenne WY (1870 pop. about 1500) is about 50 miles SE of Laramie and within about 30 miles of the borders with Colorado and Nebraska.
